At what point in life do children become young adults, and why do so many parents choose to let the school photographer do all the portraits. You get a couple of poses to choose from, and each year you have the task of picking the best from a photographer who has a contract to shoot every student in one day. They might be good photographers, but they don’t have the time to spend with each child to get the best photo possible of your children. The price of a professional photographer is so little when they provide you a keepsake of your children as they grow.

Small children, plain and simple, just bring a smile on my face. Their minds and bodies are going a hundred miles an hour and I love to be able to capture their moments of wonder and their moments of laughter. I am able to take whatever the situation and convert those captured images into beautiful portraits.

This little guy really didn’t want to have his picture taken, but I needed to get a portrait shot of him. With the help of a couple of software programs I was able to take an ordinary photo and create this studio looking portrait.
